The Kromschröder FCU 500 and FCU 505 are furnace protection systems designed for monitoring and controlling central safety functions such as gasmin., gasmax., airmin., pre-ventilation, density control, high temperature operation or start release for burner control units, in industrial furnaces with multiple burners. The FCU 500 controls multiple zones as central control of the furnace protection system. The FCU 505 takes over protection control and power control in a furnace zone.

Features and Benefits:

• Optionally available with an integrated safety temperature monitor or safety temperature limiter, integrated tightness control and an interface to control actuator capacity or a frequency converter interface.
• Using the BCSoft program, parameters, analyses and diagnostic information can be read from the FCU via the optionally available opto adapter. All valid parameters are stored on an integrated parameter chip card. This card can be removed from the old unit and inserted into a new FCU to transfer the parameters, for example when replacing the unit.
• As an option, the external control unit OCU is available. The OCU can be installed in the control cabinet door to replace standard control units.
• The optional BCM 500 bus module makes it possible to connect the FCU to a fieldbus interface in a PROFINET or Modbus TCP network
